Patrick Mahomes looked back on "where it all began" while celebrating a very special honor.
After the 29-year-old Kansas City Chiefs quarterback was inducted into the Texas High School Football Hall of Fame on Saturday, May 10, Mahomes reflected on the beginning of his legendary football career.
"Whitehouse, Texas is where it all began. It’s an honor to be inducted into the Texas High School Football Hall of Fame," Mahomes wrote in the caption of an Instagram post on Sunday.
"As a part of this recognition," Mahomes continued, the quarterback said that he was "proud to announce" that Team Mahomes, along with Adidas, "are signing 15 high schools to Team Mahomes that will represent my Gladiator logo on uniform, starting with Whitehouse High School.
