Parents of former NASCAR driver Robby Gordon identified in shooting deaths

California police are investigating the shooting deaths of two people identified as the parents of former NASCAR driver Robby Gordon.

The bodies of Robert Gordon, 68, and his wife Sharon, 57, were discovered Wednesday afternoon in a home in Orange, an upscale suburb near Los Angeles. A coroner's official confirmed the victims' identity.

Robert Gordon, also known as "Baja Bob," was a star in off road racing in events like those run in the desert peninsula of Mexico.
