Overnight fire at U.S. Cellular Field won't delay White Sox's opener

A fire broke out at U.S. Cellular Field early Friday morning, about 12 hours before the White Sox's home opener against the Indians.

The Chicago Fire Department said it took about 35 minutes to extinguish the blaze, which occurred in a storage room near Gate 2 at the ballpark.
