Oscar Robertson was so much more than the guy who averaged a triple-double

Ask a basketball fan about Oscar Robertson, and the almost guaranteed response is that "The Big O" averaged a triple-double for a whole season. Indeed, his short Basketball Hall of Fame biography ends with that very fact: "Oscar averaged a triple double for the entire season, averaging 30.8 ppg, 11.4 apg and 12.5 rpg, a feat that has never been duplicated."

Dig a little further, and Robertson not only averaged a triple double during the in 1961-62 season, but also over the course of his first five seasons: 30.3 points, 10.6 assists and 10.4 rebounds per game for the Cincinnati Royals, who have since become the Sacramento Kings.
