Oscar Piastri leads Lando Norris home in dominant McLaren one-two in Miami

McLaren crushed their rivals in Miami, securing a dominant one-two as Oscar Piastri led Lando Norris home, the pair of them over 30 seconds in front of third-placed George Russell.

But Norris, who had started second behind Red Bull’s Max Verstappen, will feel frustrated after losing position when challenging the Dutchman for the lead at the start. Norris dropped down to sixth and had to fight back from there.

It was a third win in a row for Piastri, who extended his lead over Norris at the top of the standings to 16 points.

The race featured three safety car periods and some very testy behaviour over at Ferrari, where Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc fought each other for seventh place.
