Orioles to meet Jays as both teams look to bounce back

The Baltimore Orioles, one of the surprise teams this season, enter a three-game series with the visiting Toronto Blue Jays on Monday as a strong offensive team that's posing problems for its opponents.

Baltimore is 12-9 and sitting in third place in the American League East, three games out of first place. Toronto is 3 1/2 games behind the Orioles and coming off two tough losses on Sunday - the first a completion of a suspended game from Saturday, and then the regularly scheduled game.

The Orioles, who swept Washington on Aug. 7-9 but lost two of three to the Nationals this past weekend, have shown an ability to come back from big holes.
