Orioles 5, Mets 4: Noah Syndergaard’s New Routine Doesn’t Change Result on the Road

BALTIMORE — About 30 minutes before the first pitch Wednesday, Noah Syndergaard emerged from the Mets’ dugout to begin his pregame routine. He stopped briefly to meet fans down the left-field line and then headed for the outfield, where he began stretching, twisting his hips and swinging his arms. He leaned against a wall and swung his big legs.
