At this point in the 2016 season, it’s the same old song and dance — or twerk. Steelers receiver Antonio Brown is going to wear a pair of custom cleats, come hell or high water.
And once again, the NFL can either let it go, or try to make an example of Brown — and make itself look obtuse in the process.
Brown, according to a report by TMZ Sports, will don his latest pair Sunday against the Dolphins in the AFC wild-card round. They will honor the late Jasper Howard, a former University of Connecticut player — and, like Brown, a Miami native — who was stabbed to death in October 2009 after the Huskies’ homecoming victory over Louisville.
