Oklahoma running back Joe Mixon is being sued by the female student he punched during a late-night confrontation in 2014 at a Norman cafe, NewsOK.com reported.
Amelia Molitor, 22, accuses Mixon of negligence, willful and wanton wanton misconduct and intentional infliction of emotional distress in the lawsuit filed in federal court in California, Mixon's home state.

Mixon, 20, avoided jail time under a plea deal after Molitor suffered broken bones in her face during the incident July 25, 2014. She is seeking unspecified compensation for medical expenses and “severe anxiety, embarrassment, depression, humiliation and emotional distress,” as well as punitive damages, NewsOK.
