Ohio State reloads, eyes return to playoffs behind do-it-all QB JT Barrett

Ohio State remains in national championship-or-bust mode entering Urban Meyer’s fifth season in Columbus.

The Buckeyes are 50-4 since Meyer took over in 2012, and they’ve won at least 12 games in every season. That includes just one loss in Big Ten regular-season play.

This season might be Meyer’s most interesting challenge. Just watch the first day of the NFL Draft to understand why. Nine Ohio State players left early for the NFL Draft, and 16 starters need replaced from last year’s 12-1 team that closed the season with impressive victories against Michigan and Notre Dame.
