Nuno Espírito Santo’s impressive tenure at Nottingham Forest could come to a surprise end this summer, despite overseeing one of the club’s greatest modern-day seasons – this is according to a report from Foot Mercato journalist Santi Aouna.
Appointed in December 2023 following the sacking of Steve Cooper, the Portuguese tactician has masterminded a remarkable turnaround at the City Ground. Forest, who narrowly avoided relegation in 2023-24 by finishing 17th with just 32 points, now sit 7th in the Premier League with one game remaining – within reach of a first European qualification in nearly three decades.
