After the Patriots shut down the Eagles to earn a 17-10 win on Sunday, Belichick opened his postgame press conference by talking about his team's strong defensive effort and then very quickly and casually dropped this line: "They just did a good job. I thought they had a lot of fun out there today."
"I thought they had a lot of fun" seemed like an odd remark to make while breaking down a defense, so there has to be more to the story, right? Right.
And it seems the road leads back to Eagles offensive lineman, Lane Johnson.
