No. 7 Warriors to host No. 8 Grizzlies in play-in tournament on Tuesday at Chase Center

In an incredibly tight race for the final set of postseason seeding in the Western Conference, it came down to the final day of the regular season to decide who would secure a top-six seed and who would participate in the play-in tournament.

While the Golden State Warriors started Sunday as the No. 6 seed in the West, they needed a win over the Los Angeles Clippers to lock up a top-six seed. Yet, the Warriors couldn't hold off the Clippers in a thrilling back and forth contest that required overtime, officially sending Steph Curry, Jimmy Butler and Draymond Green to the play-in tournament for the second straight season.
