LAS VEGAS — Carey Price, the Montreal Canadiens’ record-setting goalie, came away from the N.H.L. awards show Wednesday with a hat trick. He claimed the Hart Trophy as the league’s best player; the Vezina Trophy as the top goalie; and the Ted Lindsay Award, given to the top player as selected by the players.
Price’s haul capped one of the greatest regular seasons by a goalie. He led the league with 44 victories, a 1.96 goals-against average and a .933 save percentage, becoming the first goalie to take all three categories since Chicago’s Ed Belfour in 1991.
