New York (AFP) - New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has been hit with a four-game suspension for his role in the "deflategate" scandal, the NFL announced on Monday.

The league also fined the Patriots $1 million and stripped the team of their 2016 first round draft pick and the 2017 fourth round draft pick, a statement said.
