NFL world reacts to Bears OL Joe Thuney's contract extension

The Chicago Bears locked down a key member of their offensive line agreeing to terms with guard Joe Thuney on a two-year contract extension. According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the deal is worth $17.5 million per year, and Thuney will make $51 million for the next three years with $33.5 million full guaranteed at signing.

The Bears acquired Thuney in a trade with the Kansas City Chiefs in exchange for a 2026 fourth-round pick. He had just one year left on his current deal, which made locking him down to an extension a priority this offseason.
