NFL will host game in Germany in 2022, Roger Goodell announces

The NFL is bringing professional football to a new country in 2022. Commissioner Roger Goodell announced Wednesday the league would play one game in Germany — specifically, Munich — next season.

That arrangement will extend beyond 2022. The NFL intends to play four games in Germany through 2025. Two of those games will occur in Munich. The other two will take place in Frankfurt.

In addition to those international contests, the NFL will host one game in Mexico and three games in the UK in 2022.
