Adrian Peterson will again be a full-fledged member of the Minnesota Vikings on Friday.
How long he remains with the the only NFL team he's ever known remains to be seen.
The NFL announced the star tailback will be reinstated Friday. After months spent in limbo, Peterson has been eligible to come off the commissioner's exempt list since Wednesday.
A statement released by the league read:
"Adrian Peterson of the Minnesota Vikings was advised today that effective tomorrow he is reinstated as an active NFL player and may participate in all scheduled activities with the Vikings.
