N.F.L. Playoff Live Updates: Packers Lead Rams 25-18

Aaron Rodgers has built the most compelling candidacy for this year’s Most Valuable Player Award in large part with his prolific rapport with Packers receiver Davante Adams: Rodgers led the N.F.L. in passing touchdowns (48) and Adams led the league in receiving touchdowns (18). Better, their mind-meld was most successful where it matters most.
Adams, despite missing two games with an injury, caught 23 passes and scored 14 touchdowns in the red zone, both most in the N.F.L. in that area.

If Green Bay (13-3) is to have another go at the N.F.C. title — they lost to the San Francisco 49ers in last season’s conference championship — it must get through the Los Angeles Rams first.
