The Cleveland Browns and Houston Texans executed a minor trade ahead of the 2025 NFL draft.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com, the Texans sent the 166th overall pick and a 2027 fifth-round pick to the Browns. In exchange, the Browns traded their 179th, 216th, and 255th overall selections in the 2025 draft. This now reduces the number of picks the Browns have in this year's class to eight from 10.
This move allows the Browns to move up 13 spots, perhaps to dip into the day three running back sweet spot in a historically deep class.
