The NFL will have a new yearly player award category in 2025. Per multiple reports, there is an award for offensive linemen. Along with such awards as Most Valuable Player and Offensive and Defensive Players of the Year, the NFL will now add Protector of the Year.
"I'm going to give credit to Dion Dawkins from Buffalo," NFL executive vice president of football operations Troy Vincent said Wednesday from the Spring League Meeting in Minnesota.
