The Aaron Rodgers waiting game appears to have an end in sight. But, if you asked Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio, the four-time MVP should delay the signing even longer — to help the Steelers receive the best 2025 schedule possible.
According to Florio, if Rodgers announces his signing with the Steelers before May 14th, the day of the NFL schedule release, it could mean additional prime-time games, such as more Thursday Night to Sunday Night nightmare scenarios.
He added the schedule makers would be forced to predict whether or not Rodgers signs with the Steelers — or if the team moves forward with Mason Rudolph as the 2025 starter.
