The New York Knicks will waive center Joakim Noah on Saturday, sources told ESPN.
Sources told ESPN that Noah, who had two years remaining on his deal, has no traction on an open roster spot elsewhere in NBA, so he's remained unwilling to agree to a buyout.
The Knicks likely will stretch the $38 million owed him.
