East Rutherford (United States) (AFP) - New York Jets coach Todd Bowles said he was "very worried" but hoping for good news after rookie linebacker Lorenzo Mauldin was hospitalized with head and neck injuries Sunday.

"I'm very worried about it," Bowles said following the Jets 31-10 win over the Cleveland Browns in a bruising NFL season opener for both teams. "I mean that's tough because that's your player.
