The New York Giants were awarded a compensatory draft selection in last week's NFL draft. It was awarded by the NFL for losing safety Xavier McKinney to Green Bay lay March in free agency .
The selection was No. 99 overall, near the end of the third round on Day 2. They never got to use the pick as it was shipped off to Houston in the deal to move up to draft Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart.
They likely won't have such ammunition in next year's draft.
Based on Over The Cap's projection of which teams will be awarded compensatory picks next season, the Giants won't be getting any.
