New York Giant safety Tyler Nubin wore No. 31 as a rookie in 2024, and it was the first time in his career that he wore something other than the No. 27.
Last year, Jason Pinnock wore No. 27, so the number wasn't available for Nubin. With Pinnock now a member of the San Francisco 49ers, Nubin is returning to his old number.
"Last year was the first time I ever wore anything other than 27 my whole football career. It's definitely something that means a lot to me, for sure," Nubin said.
