The story of the 2025 NFL draft was the unexpected slide of Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders.
Projected to be a top 10 (in some cases, top 3) pick, Sanders not only slid out of the first round but fell to the Cleveland Browns in Round 5 at pick No. 144 overall.
It was a stunning fall from grace that didn't sit well with many former and current players, including New York Giants wide receiver Malik Mabers.
"You don't do that to a person," Nabers said on 7PM in Brooklyn.
