New York Giants rookie minicamp: Sights and sounds from Day 1

The New York Giants opened their two-day rookie minicamp on Friday and were forced inside the fieldhouse due to inclement weather in the northeast.

Before taking the field, the Giants made a series of transactions, including the official signings of three members of their 2025 NFL draft class: Offensive lineman Marcus Mbow, tight end Thomas Fidone II, and cornerback Korie Black.

They also signed 13 undrafted rookie free agents, resulting in the subsequent release of defensive lineman Casey Rogers and wide receiver Lil'Jordan Humphrey.

After the housecleaning had been taken care of, 80 players -- 78 rookies and two second-year players -- took the practice field.
