Nets' Trendon Watford gives shoutout to Liberty's Natasha Cloud

The Brooklyn Nets are still in the early stages of their offseason as they're looking to make the most out of one of the most important summers in recent memory. For the time being, Brooklyn is recovering from a long 2024-25 season, but one of the players on the team is still consuming basketball in support of another team that plays at Barclays Center.

The WNBA's New York Liberty won their season-opener over the Las Vegas Aces on Saturday 92-78 thanks in part to how guard Natasha Cloud performed. Cloud, who came to the Liberty in March via a trade from the Connecticut Sun, dropped 22 points, six rebounds, nine assists, three steals, and two blocks in what had to be one of the best games of her career as she begins her 10th season in the W.
