Halftime: Villanova Establishes Control
Michigan had a 7-point lead and was playing swarming defense, and Villanova couldn’t make a 3-pointer. Fans could be forgiven for thinking an upset was in the cards. But a run of baskets by reserve Donte DiVincenzo helped Villanova take the lead, and as the half drew to a close, the favorites looked like favorites with a 37-28 lead.
