What was figuring to be Lonzo Ball's best game of the summer came to an abrupt halt on Sunday. After a brilliant first half (14 points, 10 assists, no turnovers), Ball was removed from the game and later helped to the locker room in the third quarter with left calf tightness.
Ball returned to the bench, and ESPN sideline reporter Cassidy Hubbarth reported that the Lakers would see how the game played out before deciding on whether Ball would return to the game.
