Washington Nationals right-hander Stephen Strasburg may need surgery after being diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome, MASN Sports' Mark Zuckerman reported Friday.
Nationals manager Dave Martinez says Strasburg visited a nerve specialist who confirmed the star pitcher is dealing with carpal tunnel neuritis in his right hand. The team and Strasburg will soon discuss treatment options, which Martinez says could include surgery.
