National champion Georgia won't visit White House due to scheduling difficulties

Georgia said Tuesday that it wouldn’t visit President Joe Biden because of the June 12 date that was offered. President Biden had initially said in February that Georgia would be welcomed at the White House after it went 15-0 during the 2022 season.

“The University of Georgia first received on May 3 an invitation for the Bulldog football team to visit the White House on June 12," a statement from the school said. "Unfortunately, the date suggested is not feasible given the student-athlete calendar and time of year.
