Nashville Predators overpowered in 4-1 loss to streaking Edmonton Oilers

The Nashville Predators were not nearly good enough to break the Edmonton Oilers' winning streak on Saturday.

The Oilers winning streak is up to 16 games after the Predators' 4-1 loss at Rogers Place.

The Oilers' top line was buzzing throughout the game, though it only paid off on the power play early. Edmonton got on the board with a Ryan Nugent-Hopkins power play goal (assists from Leon Draisitl and Connor McDavid) at 7:55 of the first period after a Jeremy Lauzon penalty.

Midway through the second period, the Oilers power play struck again with McDavid teeing up Draisaitl for a goal with Lauzon again in the box.
