NASCAR driver airlifted to hospital after truck catches on fire, hits wall as he was climbing out

NASCAR Truck Series driver Jordan Anderson was climbing out of his truck as it was on fire and hit the wall at Talladega on Saturday.

Anderson’s engine had a major issue as he entered Turns 1 and 2. The fire from the engine enveloped the truck and Anderson immediately started to unbuckle himself from his seat as the truck was still moving.

It appeared that Anderson tried to spin his truck to quell the fire and then started to get out of the truck as it drifted toward the inside wall.
