Michigan State football is making up ground quickly on a three-star safety from the Sunshine State.
Kallen Martinez of Seffner, Fla. announced last week that he's received an offer from the Spartans, and he has since scheduled an official visit to Michigan State for June. Martinez will take his official visit to Michigan State on June 19, according to 247Sports.
Kallen is listed as a three-star prospect on Rivals. He is listed at 6-foot-3 and 180 pounds, and plays for Armwood High.
Michigan State is one of only five programs to extend an offer to Martinez at this time, according to 247Sports.
