PROVIDENCE — Tuesday evening’s potential girls lacrosse state title preview looked like more of the same.

Moses Brown was in control from start to finish against La Salle, an impressive showing in a rematch of the 2024 final.

The Quakers pulled away before halftime and took the result out of sight with a shutout in the third quarter. Grace MacLean led the attack and Ava Porter starred in goal in a 14-3 victory at windswept Cimini Stadium. MacLean netted six times and Porter notched eight saves behind a solid defensive unit.

Moses Brown is scheduled to visit Massachusetts for a Thursday match with Acton-Boxborough, and all of its in-state work until the Division I postseason is now done.
