Mixed reactions to Commanders' return to RFK Stadium site

You can't make everyone happy. On Monday, Washington Commanders managing partner Josh Harris and Washington, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser announced plans for a new state-of-the-art stadium in the District, which is expected to open in 2030.

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell was on hand for the monumental event, and so were Washington legends Joe Gibbs, Darrell Green, John Riggins and Doug Williams. Commanders general manager Adam Peters and head coach Dan Quinn were also there.

The vibes were great. There was clapping after almost every sentence at one time. Harris and Bowser praised one another and their roles in getting this across the finish line.
