A former high-ranking NFL official poured gas on the fire that was a game-changing fumble call late in Sunday’s Jacksonville Jaguars-Kansas City Chiefs game.
Mike Pereira, now a rules analyst with Fox Sports, contradicted the game officials' statement that the still frame replay isn’t available to them in the wake of a controversial fourth-quarter fumble call on Jaguars running back Chris Ivory.

“Of course replay uses still frames. There are times when you do use it — a sideline catch, is the foot in bounds, is the toe on the line — you use freeze frames for that,” Pereira said on Fox Sports.
