A day after the Spartans added another transfer to their roster, Michigan State women's basketball will now add to their coaching staff, as they announced the hiring of Bianca Smith as an assistant coach.
Smith spent last season coaching at her alma mater, Colorado, where she was the 2010 Big 12 Sixth Man of the Year. She also shared the school single-game record for makes in a game, hitting seven threes in three separate games.
Before her stint with Colorado, Smith spent four seasons with Lamar, where she helped the Cardinals to back-to-back 20-win seasons.
