Spartans left-handed pitcher Joseph Dzierwa was been named May 20 as one of 25 semifinalists for the Golden Spikes Award, given every year to college baseball’s top player. Dzierwa leads the Spartans in wins (eight), innings pitched (85u2154), strikeouts (98) and walk rate (2.2 per nine innings).
