Michigan defensive player raves about young QBs, Bryce Underwood: 'Great decision-making'

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The hype for new Michigan football quarterback Bryce Underwood has been building and shows no signs of slowing down. But the same can also be said of second-year signal caller Jadyn Davis.

The duo are duking it out in spring ball with Fresno State transfer Mikey Keene sidelined with injury. Thus, for now, it's been a two-quarterback race, giving each an advantage when it comes to fall camp and potentially starting at the 2025 season's outset.

On Wednesday, both quarterbacks were lumped together when junior safety Brandyn Hillman -- who is tasked with defending their passes -- and he noted that both have a lot of ability, but just as importantly, both appear to be playing well beyond their ages, at least in spring ball.
