The Mets hopped out to an early 4-0 lead over the first-place Nationals on Monday night, but beginning with the bottom of the third inning, the Nationals utterly dominated the rest of the way. It would end up 11-4 Nats. Yes, that's 11 unanswered runs, pushing Washington to a four-game lead over the Mets (and, actually, the Mets down to third place behind the Marlins, who are 3 1/2 games out now).
