Mets' Matt Harvey done for season; shoulder surgery scheduled

Mets pitcher Matt Harvey will have season-ending shoulder surgery.

Harvey was placed on the 15-day disabled list Wednesday because of discomfort in his right shoulder.

Agent Scott Boras confirmed the information and said Harvey would have surgery in about a week.
