Colon scorched a run-scoring double for a 2-1 lead in the second inning on Sunday and limited the Miami Marlins to three runs in his seven innings on the mound to help the Mets to a 4-3 victory at Citi Field. The result gave Colon his eighth win, which tied him for the major league lead with the Seattle Mariners’ Felix Hernandez.
