Matt Every in danger of missing cut after day 1 lead at Arnold Palmer Invitational

Matt Every played his lowest round at Bay Hill on the first day of the Arnold Palmer Invitational in Orlando, Florida. His 7-under 65 positioned him in first place, above world No. 1 Rory McIlroy.

But in the second round, he lived up to his own comment made in a post-round interview and finished at 11-over 83, putting him in danger of missing the cut.

Matt Every follows opening-round 7-under 65 at @APinv with an 11-over 83. The last first-round leader/co-leader to miss the cut on the @PGATOUR in an individual stroke-play event was Andrew Loupe at the 2016 @TravelersChamp.
