Derek Fisher's schedule cleared up quickly after he was fired by the Knicks on Monday. It's unlikely he will be planning a casual lunch with Matt Barnes.
Barnes shared a photo of himself on Instagram roughly an hour after the Knicks gave Fisher the boot. Barnes didn't include a caption, but no explanation was needed. As the old saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words.
