Markelle Fultz available to play for 76ers after missing 68 games

The Philadelphia 76ers say point guard Markelle Fultz is available to play for the first time since October against the Denver Nuggets on Monday night.

Fultz, who was taken with the No. 1 overall pick in this year's draft, has not played since Oct. 23 as he has been hampered by an injury to his shoulder area. He will back up Ben Simmons at point guard.

Coach Brett Brown had said before Saturday night's game against Minnesota that it would take Fultz telling the team's he's ready to play before a decision is made on his status for the rest of the regular season and playoffs.
