The Kansas City Chiefs and Arizona Cardinals struck a deal that will send cornerback Marcus Cooper to the Cardinals.
The Chiefs announced the deal on Twitter, which includes Kansas City receiving an undisclosed draft pick. Per Darren Urban of the Cardinals official website, the draft pick is for 2018.
The San Francisco 49ers drafted the 26-year-old Cooper in 2013 in the seventh round. They waived him during the final round of preseason roster cuts that same season, which is when the Chiefs claimed him.
In three seasons with the Chiefs, Cooper has appeared in 39 games (11 starts).
