Dallas Mavericks fans got the worst news possible Thursday. Star guard Luka Doncic is expected to miss Game 1 of the Mavericks' first-round playoff series against the Utah Jazz on Saturday due to a calf injury, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
The Mavericks have not announced Doncic's status for Game 1.
Doncic originally injured himself during the team's final game of the regular season. The injury occurred in the third quarter of the Mavericks' 130-120 win over the San Antonio Spurs.
